Field Service Technician
We are seeking a career minded person who will provide service to TV distribution systems in hospitals in
The nature and scope of the Field Service Technician position in brief is as follows:
- install, repair and maintain MATV, STAPH, DSS, CCTV, computer-based patient rental and education systems, television systems and telephone PBX equipment.
- adjusts, aligns and calibrates equipment to manufacturer's recommended specifications; troubleshoot electronic equipment to component level.
- maintain administrative documentation according to company standards.
- on-call until 10pm, seven days a week: wears a pager; responds to dispatched service calls.
- prioritizes work, orders parts and responds to customer requests for additional assistance as required.
- wears company provide uniform and identification during working hours.
- proven technical electronic repair expertise coupled with strong customer orientation and the ability to represent Hospitality Network in a professional manner.
- capable of working independently with minimal supervision and the ability to prioritize work load to achieve maximum productivity.
- supervise sub-contractors.
- ability to lift 25 to 28 kilograms and on a daily basis, bend, squat, kneel, climb ladders and walk repetitively.
- must hold a valid
- computer literate; light programming of televisions, satellite systems, etc.
